The name
LU13 (say it el-you-thirteen) is wordplay on Eleuthera — the Bahamian island whose name comes from the Greek for freedom. Break it apart: eL + eU + THERA — and terah (तेरह) is Hindi for thirteen. A little world tour in four characters.
